Equipment

This is all the equipment that I used within my photoshoot to help me create great, professional photos for a better overall magazine. This slideshare is useful as i can refer back to it when i have created my final product so therefore i will know exactly what to write within my evaluation.
i obtained the information within this slide through web browsing e.g. google so this way i know that the information that i got is mostly accurate.

Before and after of my images.

This is the before and after images of some of the photos that i used within my magazine so you can see the development and changed that it went through to go onto my magazine.
On the images i used the software PhotoShop to edit them, i don't this by removing the background and changing the brightness, contrast and shadows etc.
This is useful as i can  refer back to this later in my product production and it also displays the skills that i have gained.

PROPS AND COSTUMES

I created a prezi which displays the ideas of the props and costumes that i want my model to wear within my photoshoot, i made this because it would be easier for me at my photoshoot if I have this information as i have a general idea of what I want my model to look like and wear. I created this information on Prezi as it clearly divides my different ideas etc. and again makes my blog look professional.

Production Log

I changed the colours of the sell-lines and added a few things to make me front cover look more appealing and busy to engage the audience. i also put the main imagine into photoshop and used the spot removal tool.
On the contents page i  put all the text inside the guide lines on InDesign to make it look more professional. I followed my teachers feedback tutorial to make it to the best of my abilities, i also changed the page numbers to make my magazine look bigger and more appealing. All i need to do now is add the last image.
I added an introduction at the beginning of the article to give the reader insight in to what they are about to read and to engage them.
I made the 'B' at the back of the page smaller and bolder so that it stands out but doesn't take too much attention away from the more important things.

SELL LINES

Here are the sell-lines that I will put on the front cover of my magazine, I will include these because I think that they will appeal to my target audience and attract a wider audience.
I wanted my sell-lines to be intriguing and exciting but also simple so that they look professional and sophisticated.
I chose these sell-lines as i was looking as successful music magazines such as 'Q' and saw that they use sell-lines like this, so therefore me using these ensures that i will appeal to some of my target audience.

IMAGES IDEAS

I researched photo shoots from existing music magazines to get a general understanding of  what I want to do for my photo shoot to get the best possible outcome for my magazine, so that it will appeal for my audience.

Name Designs

These are my masthead designs. I chose these fonts as I feel as though they represent the magazine and the indie/alternative genre well - connoting the individual, distressed and wrecklessness of the audience.  I am still undecided on which font to use however I will be adding more fonts if I see any that I like and deciding upon the font I would like to use for my masthead once I develop more ideas.

COLOUR CONNOTATIONS / IDEAS

I created some house colours which I thought would appeal to my magazine, I decided to go with the house colour of white, black and red as this is the most bold and dynamic colour scheme. it also appeals to both males and females which is who my target audience is.

BOX OUT TEXT

Here is the ideas of the box out texts that I want to place on my ideas, this makes it easier for me when creating my final product so that I can refer back to this.

MOODBOARD

Transcript:  I chose to place these four social media icons e.g. twitter, on my moodboard as they are the most popular and the most commonly used by my target audience a large majority of the time.
My target audience are very up to date with the new devices and technology within the world at the moment and tries to get the most latest gadget possible such as the new smartphones.
I chose certain Indie Artists that i thought would appeal to my target audience e.g. Ed Sheeran, as these people are idolized by my target audience.
I incorporated outfits that i believe my target audience would wear at festivals and concerts etc.
i also incorporated where they would buy these outfits from.
I included photos of the most popular festivals coachella and reading which are both two indie festivals that would appeal to my audience.
